Newspaper article about Roxy Musique!

Here an article by Melanie Wallwork (The Bolton News) about Roxy Musique!
Until some months ago I would never imagine it could be written an article in UK about me and the band I'm playing with! To be honest.. I wouldn't imagine I could be touring across England playing with a professional bands! Strange thing that happen in the life!

"ROXY Music fans are in for a treat when a tribute band to the seminal art rock group comes to Farnworth.
Roxy Musique will be at the Moses GateR, Bolton Road, next month, playing the band’s hits from 1972 to 1982.
Formed in 1971, by Bryan Ferry, Roxy Music had a raft of hits which will be performed by the tribute act, as well as lesser-known songs and album tracks.
The two-set show features songs from 1972 to 1975, described as a staggering musical tour-de-force of the band’s early, heady days.
The second part focuses on 1979 to 1982, for fans of the hits of which there were almost 20, including Dance Away, Oh Yeah and Avalon.
Steve Richmond, Roxy Musique’s lead singer, said: “No one attending a Beatles tribute band would expect to hear Imagine or Mull of Kintyre, so why should we play Let's Stick Together or Slave to Love?
"In Roxy Musique we have a world class ensemble of musicians more than capable of recreating the most intricate of Roxy Music's album tracks and we feel the obscure songs deserve to be heard.
“We are very lucky in having two virtuosic multi-instumentalists; Oliver Whawell on sax, oboe and keyboard as Andy Mackay, and Colin Drummond on keyboard, synth and electric violin as Eddie Jobson/Brian Eno.
"The remaining members are no less talented of course.
“Paul Say is a phenomenal guitarist and he needs to be to emulate Phil Manzanera's endless styles. Saul di Palo is one of the finest bass players anyone will ever hear and David Speake has the skill and the power to replicate the great Paul Thompson on drums.”
The musicians, who hail from England, Ireland, Scotland and Italy, will be at theMoses Gate, Bolton Road, Farnworth, on Thursday, November 13. Tickets cost £6."
